The breakfast was very good. The studio unit was very spacious, but did not look like any of the pictures that I had seen online.

The lady of the house Eliza is very kind, the room is clean, the garden is green and with roses, the birds are singing. And there is enough space.

Le Petite Maison is a lovely place, located in a quiet street close to the center of Giverny, in easy walking distance to Monets Garden, several restaurants and a bakery. It’s a small house with a private garden. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and you can ask for an additional duvet, if you don’t like to share the big one that’s on the bed. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee maker with capsules, cooking essentials like salt, oil and vinegar and even an electric citrus press.
What really makes this place special is that we felt right at home, when we walked into the house. It’s furnished and decorated with so much love and care. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day.

Giverny is a charming and historic town that has an intimate feel despite having a world-class attraction of Monet’s Gardens. On our visit, visitors seemed thoughtful and respectful, and like us, were in awe of the beauty of the village itself, as well as the magnificent gardens themselves. It was a great pleasure to stroll through the streets of Giverny, and the advantage of staying in town is that most visitors to the gardens have left by late afternoon and the village itself is peaceful and interesting to explore.
Although restaurant options in town are somewhat limited (however there is apparently a Michelin starred restaurant in town), we enjoyed dining at “Le Temps des Fleurs”, on a covered terrace overlooking a garden.
We also enjoyed visiting the Giverny Museum of Impressionism, which is a more intimate space with no permanent collection, but interesting temporary exhibitions.

A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes. The Museum was interesting and held beautiful artwork of Impressionists. Monet's garden and house were a treat to visit. Our timing was perfect - there was much in bloom and the weather was cooperative. There were hidden monuments - Monet's bust, the monument to him and his family. And the house was beautifully replicated.

Beautiful village, with a sense of peace and quietness despite many tourists. Monets garden is absolutely worth a visit as well as the impressionist museum. We had dinner at the new restaurant “Oscar” at the museum (excellent food at a fair price, definitely recommend it)

This centre was lacking in the overall character of a village. The gardens were the focus. But there was very little opportunity to enjoy the village separate to the gardens as there were no shops to buy local cheese, yes there is a bakery but no partisse. It had character but no sole.

We loved the gardens and house although very busy.
We loved the gardens and house although very busy. Glad we chose the earlier booking option as by the time we left it was mobbed. If we had longer we would have gone to the museum too, however, we were en route south and needed to get going.
Like it even better once we left the pre booked disgusting Les Rouges Gorges and paid for another stay at the idyllic La Dime.
Afaf and Alain were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful during our quick overnight stay - gave us bread, hand-picked strawberries from their garden, and water & juice in the fridge. The home is so beautifully kept, the terrace is perfect for a little snooze and they let us wamder theit garden. We were about a 10 min walk to Claude Monet's house, so easy to walk around the town. We would absolutely come back to visit Giverny and the rest of the Normandy region again. Also, their dog prada is so cute!
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Very friendly and helpful - we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were able to leave the car in their private car park whilst we visited the gardens on Sunday morning.
We recommend it.
Also, Giverny is very quiet in the evening once all the visitors have gone home but does have several restaurants in the village and a good choice of supermarkets including Lidl nearby.
There’s a big, free car park on the edge of Giverny if you don’t want to use their car park
We spent a night in Le Coin des Artistes during our trip in Normandy. It is located in the centre of Giverny just a short walk from Monet's House. Our host were very lovely people they provided us all the useful information we needed for our visit. The breakfast was home made and very nice. Our room was nice and clean too. We enjoyed our short stay in Giverny and Le Coin des Artistes. Thank you very much!
The “Little Eagle’s Nest” is the perfect spot for a sole traveler, a couple, or two very close friends, who wish to stay within easy walking distance to Monet’s Gardens and other attractions in Giverny. It is very clean and very well equipped. Veronique, the host made our stay extra special by welcoming us, helping us with booking of the taxi back to Vernon and, sharing her beautiful garden with us.
From the moment we checked in to the time we left, the staff was amazing. My husband and I were beyond impressed with the attention to detail and all the “little things”. They went above and beyond to accommodate our stay and made our last evening in France extra special. Our favorite part was the breakfast delivered to the room in the cutest little basket. We wished we spent more nights here!
The location was excellent- we were able to walk to Monet’s gardens, a restaurant, bakery. Room was spacious and comfortable, if the weather had been a bit warmer we could have sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed the garden. Host was wonderful as was breakfast. We were able to buy tickets for Monet’s house and garden from the host, and not have to ore/book online or stand in a queue
Rose Garden is just charming. From the moment you arrive the wrought iron gates and the abundance of colour provided by the roses and other flowers in the garden. The accommodation itself is perfect for a short get away. The little attention to detail makes this the perfect get away. It’s locality is perfect to explore Giverny and surrounding areas.
Staying at Les Rouges Gorges is a singular experience. The location is beautiful and the rooms are filled with amazing character. Staying here was absolutely the highlight of our time in Giverny & I highly recommend this spot -- especially for anyone interested in a staying at a quirky, charming bed and breakfast.
This was a WONDERFUL experience. The host was extremely charming and took very good care of us. My only regret was not staying an extra night in Giverny to enjoy these wonderful accomodations. Plan on returning to spend more time!
The photos are very realistic and they really represent the atmosphere of Giverny. Comfortable and artistic room with a spacious garden to relax. The owners are friendly and welcoming.
I loved the quirkiness of the place and the lovely old furniture.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had lovely fresh bread and jam for breakfast.
We loved Giverny.
Beautiful tranquil place in the beautiful tranquil village of Giverny. Lovely welcome by very nice owners. Spotlessly clean. Perfectly placed for the Fondation Monet.
The location was excellent, 5 minute walk from Monet's house. The village of Giverny is beautiful. Good eating places and cafes.
The b& b had a great garden itself.
